Unfortunately, these incredible apps are very, very easy to use and are providing people with unrealistic expectations all over the globe!

Your hair can only take so much and depending on what you are blessed with naturally,

I.e. colour, texture, under tones etc, will massively determine the outcome of your colour service.

In the salon, we can literally have 7 clients, who all choose the same target shade, who all have the same colour applied to their hair and all have 7 different outcomes!

This is because each client, has their own unique distribution of colour pigments in their hair, there is literally no two heads of hair which are the same.

We can guarantee you, that these filtered images do not take into consideration the natural pigments or other contributing factors into their final images.

Its very common for “fashion” tones to be expected, as these are very often edited using filters or apps.

The truth is, whist these colours can sometimes be achieved, on the right, healthy hair, they often fade out in a couple of washes, which means that they are very high maintenance.
