OUR STORY

HEIR was founded in 2020 by twin sisters Natalie Crank and Natasha Langthorne.

From an early age, Natalie and Natasha planned on owning a hair salon. They would play together as children playing with dolly heads and talking about their future. Both are inspired by fond childhood memories and inherited family values, which is translated into their work ethic and philosophies.

Growing up both sisters were naturally creative and branched off as teens to pursue their professional passions. Natalie started her apprenticeship at 14 learning and honing her craft as a creative innovator in the hair industry whilst Natasha specialised in business management and customer service for several high profile companies.

In 2010, Natalie and Natasha joined forces and opened a successful hair & beauty salon as part of a national franchise group. With their skill sets complimenting each other, they grew a team of creative and passionate individuals and quickly realised their potential and ability to develop, train and motivate hair and beauty professionals, in a customer focussed, safe salon environment.  After 10 years and a wealth of industry knowledge and experience they decided to step out from behind the corporate world and launch their own salon brand - HEIR.

HEIR is not only a tribute to Natalie and Natasha’s late Nanna, a truly special and inspirational predecessor, but also for all of the strong women who inspire, educate, nurture and encourage. 

HEIR defines the sisters’ inherited values for creating a brand that delivers authentic results, nurtures its creative family and contributes to the wider community.
